PRE-ADMISSION FEE (Non-Refundable)

An administration fee of R250-00 is payable for registration and when booking an assessment for a prospective student. Assessment bookings, where applicable, will only be confirmed once proof of payment has been received. This fee includes confirmation of previous school fees being paid and the compulsory Credit Risk Assessment (CRA) check which includes an ITC check.

ENROLMENT FEE (Non-Refundable)

A non-refundable administration fee of R2 500-00 is payable once a student has been offered a placement. Wait-listing or Enrolment will only be confirmed upon the receipt of the enrolment fee, plus, the successful completion of the information and documentation as required in the Application Form.

NB: This fee will be waived if the applicant has a current sibling at the school.

ACADEMIC FEES

The table below sets out the school fees for 2024. Certain extras will be payable during the year such as stationery, photographs, school excursions, exercise books, textbooks, and external examination fees (when applicable). We will endeavour to keep these charges to a minimum.
Included in the Academic Fees are a locker (own lock required) and all extramural activities.
Siblings receive the following discount on Academic Fees payable: 1st sibling – R540 p/m and 2nd sibling – R270 p/m
A Practical Laboratory fee of R500.00 will be charged for all students who have chosen any of the sciences as a subject.
A fee of R500.00 will be charged annually (payable at beginning of 2024) for grades 8 – 12. This fee is for Art supplies.

EXTERNAL EXAMINATION FEES

Grade 10 Cambridge IGCSE: Estimated exam fees ± £43.00 per subject.

Grade 11/12 Cambridge AS Level: Estimated exam fees ± £48.00 per subject (Exact Rand values will be determined by the prevailing exchange rate)

PAYMENT METHODS

OPTION A – This option is the discounted fee on the annual amount of R109 000. To qualify for this discount the total amount of R104 000 is to be paid on or before the 31st of December 2024. Payment can be made by way of direct transfer (EFT) into the bank account. Payment must reflect on our bank statement no later than 31st December 2024.

NB: Discounted payments received after 31st December 2024 will not qualify for the discount.

OPTION B, C & D – Monthly payments can be made via a Debit Order facility or Electronic Funds Transfer – Monthly school fees are payable in advance and not later than the 5th day of the current month. Debit order authorisation is included in the contract of enrolment. Kindly contact our School Bursar for details: finance@chartercollege.co.za.

SPORTS & EDUCATIONAL TOURS

All funds relating to sports and educational excursions must be paid in full prior to departure. If school fees are in arrears, students will not be permitted to go on any tour until the outstanding school fees are paid. In certain circumstances, the price of the tours may be included in the invoice of your school fee account.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

A notice period of at least One Full Term, in writing, is required for the withdrawal of the student from the school. Please refer to the Enrolment Form with regards to the Fee Policy and other terms and conditions. (A copy is available on request)
