University of the Free State Online Assessment and Application – Exemption for degree studies is needed for applicants who intend to register at:
- a South African University or
- an Affiliated Private Higher Education institution

Please note that you need to complete the first step, the online assessment, before being able to proceed with the remaining steps.
1 DO THE ONLINE ASSESSMENT
Completing the assessment will provide an indication of whether or not you are eligible for exemption towards degree studies in South Africa and
WILL NOT necessarily result in an exemption certificate.
If the results indicate that you are not eligible, the necessary steps towards exemption will be provided.
