Tshwane South TVET College (TSC) is a registered public Technical and Vocational Education and Training College in terms of the Continuous Education Training Act (CET Act No.16 of 2006). TSC is a merger of three former Technical Colleges namely Atteridgeville, Centurion and Pretoria West, as Gazetted in 2001(Notice 7311, Gazette No 240 of December 2001). In 2006, TSC gained its fourth Campus (Odi Campus) from the Orbit TVET College as a result of the rezoning of the Provincial borders.
As a public institution, TSC and her counterparts’ fundamental mandate is to indiscriminately equip South Africa’s young people with vocational and occupationally directed skills at intermediate level of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), thus contributing to

STEP 3 Status 1: Pending Verification (Awaiting Approval)
The Campus Programme Manager will screen a student and accept them if they meet all requirements then move the student to the next status: Book Assessment
STEP 4: Status 2 Book Assessment (Make Appointment)
Student receives notification of selected campus, date & time to complete assessment. Next status is Pending Assessment
STEP 5: Status 3 Pending Assessment (Awaiting Results)
Assessment results will be captured and student status will move to Pending Review
STEP 6: Status 4 Pending Review (Awaiting Outcome)
Programme Manager will screen assessment results & move student to Provisionally Accepted or Unsuccessful
STEP 7: Status 6 Unsuccessful
Programme Manager will move a student that is not successful to this status. Student to get Career Guidance for an alternative option.
STEP 8 Status 5 Provisional Accepted (Temporarily Accepted)
Student will receive an sms & email e.g. “Hi Thandi, Your application for N1 Civil Engineering has been provisionally accepted. Should you want to Accept this application, please go to your Current Application on the Portal or follow this link: https/TSCPORTAL.COLTECH.CO.ZA/student/application/173377 to complete the process & move to status Pre – Enrolled
STEP 9: Status 7 Pre-enrolled
Student who accepted will now be moved to the Admission Portal Pre-Enrolled module awaiting registration to the system
NB: The student needs to finalise registration at their selected campus to complete the process and must present certified copies of uploaded documents for purpose to receive books and student card.
