About the SAIBPP Bursary Fund: SAIBPP is a leading national voluntary professional association representing +2 500 members from the property sector and the built environment. SAIBPP was established in 1996 to address the under-representation of black people in the commercial property industry.

SAIBPP was founded in 1996 and is a registered B-BBEE Level 1 non-profit/social benefit company. SAIBPP is a voluntary professional association comprised of members from the property sector and the built environment. Our primary objective is to drive transformation in the property sector through policy advocacy, education and training and enterprise support and development. SAIBPP is led by its CEO Kululwa Muthwa, with the support of an experienced board of directors from the property industry and built environment, committee members, and office staff.

Details of SAIBPP Bursary Fund Application 2025/2026

The SAIBPP Bursary Fund, which is now in its 8th year, was created to enable access to tertiary education for aspiring and current students with financial need who are pursuing full time studies in property or related studies. The Bursary Fund has raised R10.3 million from 2021 to 2025.

Eligibility Critiria for SAIBPP Bursary Fund Application for 2025

SAIBPP invites the following eligible candidates to apply for the 2025 Bursary Fund:

Matric learners intending on doing their 1st year of study at a South African public university.
Matriculants who have passed with university exemption and are currently employed
Students who are currently enrolled full-time in a South African tertiary institution for a relevant course of study
Students who have graduated with an undergraduate qualification and are intending to register for postgraduate studies
Willing to become a student member of SAIBPP and engage in community outreach

Eligible Courses and Instutition Avialable of the SAIBPP Bursary Fund for 2025

Applications will only be granted for full-time studies
Bursaries will only be allocated for studies in commercial property related qualifications as listed below;

Requirements for SAIBPP Bursary Fund Application for 2025

Proven record of academic performance & excellent academic results (in the case of current matriculants, final Grade 11 and June results will be required)
Proof of financial need.
