About the Royal HaskoningDHV: Royal HaskoningDHV was first known as “SSI Engineers and Environmental Consultants” when it was formed in 1922. South African citizen
Current Matric students:
- Achieved a minimum 5 symbols for Physical Science and Mathematics
- Achieved a minimum overall average of 65%
- Intend on studying within one of the aforementioned fields of study
- Accepted to study at a recognised South African University
Current University students:
- Completed Matric
- Achieved a minimum of 65% overall aggregate
- Studying within one of the aforementioned fields of study (1st/ 2nd/ 3rd year)
- Studying at a recognised South African University
Preference will be given to students from designated groups
Strong academic potential
Proven financial need
Possess the following behavioural competencies: Excellence, Integrity, Brightness and Team spirit

Royal HaskoningDHV Bursary Application Procedures 2025/2026

ID document (certified copy),
Grade 11 year-end results (if a Matric student)
Matric certificate (if a university student)
Recent academic results from university/ if no exams were written, a progress report
Proof of registration at university for the relevant course
Proof of parents/ guardians income (payslips/ tax return statement/ financial statements/ affidavit if unemployed/ death certificate if deceased)
Motivational letter
