NSFAS Payment for TVET Students Without Using the Black Card
Latest Update on NSFAS Payment for TVET Students. The NSFAS has issued a new Payment for TVET Students Without Using the Black Card, effectively starting from 14th May 2024.
NSFAS has devised a payment mechanism to address the ongoing allowance payment challenges through its internal banker. All TVET college students funded by NSFAS can now receive their allowances through a bank account of their choice with any bank. Log onto your myNSFAS account and submit your details.
Please note this is ONLY for TVET college NSFAS beneficiaries University students will continue to receive their allowance through their institutions until the end of July 2024.
Steps on How to Submit your Bank Details to Receive NSFAS Allowances
Here’s how you can submit your bank details to receive allowances from NSFAS (For TVETs only)
Step 1:
Visit “www.nsfas.org.za” and click on the “myNSFAS portal” section.
Step 2:
Log in using your myNSFAS account username and password.
Step 3:
Once logged in, click on the “bank account details” option under the ‘Profile Information’ section.
Step 4:
Fill in your banking details from a bank of your choice.
Step 5:
Click on the “save” button.
NSFAS will verify the submitted banking details with your bank for successful submission.
