NB: This is an APPLICATION FORM for admission to Hoërskool Standerton and NOT A REGISTRATION FORM! A complete copy of the school’s Admission Policy is available at the school on request. The following is an extract from the Admission Policy.
Dear Parent/Guardian
APPLICATION FOR A FIRST ADMISSION: Please make sure that PAGES 2 to 4 containing PERSONAL PARTICULARS OF APPLICANT has been completed neatly, and thoroughly and in block letters before the form is submitted to SHS.
It is of utmost importance that all parents/guardians of applicants scrutinize the following sections of this document and supply all relevant information where applicable. You as parent/guardian then indicate your understanding of, and compliance with, the contents of this document and the accuracy of the completed sections, by signing on p. 5.
FIND INCLUDED:
- The financial policy of the Governing Body and particulars of obligations regarding the settling of accounts (p. 4).
- Extramural activities and leadership (p. 7)
(Please complete and hand in the signed confirmation form in the guardian teacher’s class).
When admission has been determined, the MAXIMUM age restrictions laid down in the Schools Act of 1996 will be strictly adhered to:
Grade 8: 16 years; Grade 9: 17 years.
The closing date for applications: 31 August.
Option A:
