School Fees

The school’s annual budget for 2024 was presented and motivated to the parent body at a meeting held on 04 November 2024. The meeting, as required by the South African Schools Act, adopted a resolution that Grey High School continues as a fee-paying school, and approved the budget that was presented.

On the recommendation of the Board of Governors, the following fee structure for the 2024 school year has been agreed upon by the parents:

PAYMENT OF FEES:

DEBIT ORDER PAYMENTS: The debit orders for the year 2024 will commence on 2 January 2024 and run through to 1 December 2024. The existing debit order authorisations remain in force until cancelled in writing or your son leaves the school. Debit orders are only deducted on the 1st of each month. Your co-operation by carefully planning to have funds available on the first working day of each month is appreciated. Parents are reminded that the fee is actually an annual fee that is paid off in 12 monthly instalments.
ANNUAL PAYMENTS: Fees paid annually in advance, before 31 January 2024 will be subject to a discount of R2 805 for school fees and R3425 for hostel fees.
CASH PAYMENTS: Payments must be done by direct deposit into the school’s bank account. Kindly e-mail a copy of the proof of payment to debtors@greyhighschool.com. Please ensure that your payment references your son’s name and school fee account number. The bank account details of the school are as follows: Standard Bank, Rink Street, Branch (050417), Grey High School a/c No: 080270492.
