Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development Learnerships – The Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development (GDID) are the governmental sector that build, maintain and manage public infrastructure for the health sectors, education sectors and client departments within the Gauteng province. The GDID employ around 2 800 staff throughout Gauteng.

ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP
The Department of Infrastructure Development Learnership prorgramme combines theory and practical experience that once completed, will result in students acquiring an NQF nationally recognized qualification.
Learnerships create qualified and well trained individuals who will contribute to the economic growth of the country, as well as address the skills shortages in South Africa.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- South African citizen
- Completed Matric
- Newly employed workers
- Those currently employed by the Department who wish to change professions or broaden their skills
- Those currently employed by the Department who are developing their skills in terms of the Skills Development Act
- Redeployed workers
