South African citizen
Completed Matric OR currently in Matric
Reside in Gauteng (for at least 1 year before applying for this bursary)
Studying or intend on studying towards a full-time qualification in one of the aforementioned fields of study (undergraduate only)
Studying or accepted to study at an accredited South African tertiary institute in Gauteng
From a previously disadvantaged background
Female students, students from designated rural areas and students with disabilities are encouraged to apply
Preference will be given to students with excellent academic records and those who show great potential
Preference will be given to students who are NOT in receipt of any other bursary funding
Veterinary Laboratory Technology (National Diploma) students: achieved a minimum of level 4/ 50-59% for Mathematics, Chemistry and Physical Science in Matric
Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) students: achieved a minimum of level 5/ 60-69% for Mathematics and Physical Science in Matric
Zoology, Botany or Ecology (BSc) students: achieved a minimum of level 5/ 60-69% for Mathematics, Chemistry and Physical Science in Matric
Environmental Science/ Environmental Management (BSc) students: achieved a minimum of level 5/ 60-69% for Mathematics and Physical Science in Matric
Geo-Informatics or GIS related qualification (BSc) students: achieved a minimum of level 5/ 60-69% for Mathematics and Physical Science in Matric
