About the Friends of Design: Friends of Design – Academy of Digital Arts, founded in 2006, is one of the top design education institutes in Cape Town. The centre is recognised and accredited by the Department of Higher Education and provides a range of full-time courses; short courses; online courses and corporate training programmes. Located within the Cape Town city centre, Friends of Design is committed to supporting skills development within creative fields, as well as providing study opportunities for students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds to enter into the industry.
