About the Financial Services Board: The Financial Services Board (FSB) is responsible for overseeing the Non-Banking Financial Services Industry in South Africa for the interest of the public. The FSB bursary is for students who are studying towards an Actuarial Science qualification at the University of Pretoria or the University of Witwatersrand – first-year students and matriculants should apply. The bursary is aimed at previously disadvantaged students who would otherwise not be able to study, due to lack of funding.
