With over 3 000 international students registered at CPUT annually, from more than 74 countries, speaking over 100 languages, CPUT is a thriving cosmopolitan centre for cultural, social and political exchange.

All applicants interested in formal qualifications are supported by the Admissions and Registration Centre (ARC).

This unit reports directly to the Registrar and they are responsible for evaluating all international undergraduate and postgraduate applications. 

All international undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications obtained must first be evaluated and verified by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) before submitting applications for studying at CPUT.  Please click here for more details regarding SAQA and International admission requirements

All international undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications obtained must first be evaluated and verified by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) before submitting applications for studying at CPUT.

SAQA is responsible for issuing of Letter of Undertaking which contains the duration of the study and is submitted to the SA High Commission in order to apply for the study visa.
