General Education and Training (GET) level: Grades 8 and 9
Grade 8s have all 10 subjects, but Grade 9 learners select the First Additional Language they will take to Grade 12.

Further Education and Training (FET) level: Grades 10, 11 and 12
At the end of Grade 9 learners have a variety of subjects to choose from. Subject packages offer the flexibility of combinations of subjects to allow learners to develop themselves academically in a number of areas.

7: Visual Arts, Dramatic Arts, Information Technology, Computer Applications Technology, Geography, Business Studies.
